The Peninsula Institute for Strategic Analysis (PISA) is an independent, non-profit research organization based in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
By engaging leading security experts from the U.S., China and beyond, PISA seeks to shape strategic dialogue in East Asia and offer concrete, actionable policy solutions to complex regional challenges.

What we do

PISA focuses on U.S.-China relations, Chinese military capabilities, the Taiwan issue, and the geopolitics of Korean unification. Our work centers on East Asia's security environment and broader international relations.

We facilitate private policy discussions and semi-official 1.5-track dialogues with security experts from the U.S., Japan, China, Taiwan, the EU, ASEAN and others. These efforts are designed to produce meaningful, real-world deliverables and shape the security landscape.
